Adelaide:
Club chairman Rob Chapman reiterated his support for besieged chief executive Steven Trigg, while the man suspended for six months for his part in the Kurt Tippett salary cap scandal planned an overseas study trip.

Brisbane:
After being overlooked as a father-son recruit by Geelong, Jordon Bourke could embark on an AFL career at his father’s second club after joining the Brisbane Lions’ training squad on Monday.

Carlton:
A decade ago, the AFL Commission smashed the Carlton Football Club for its systematic cheating of the salary cap. By comparison Adelaide has been treated leniently by the AFL.

Collingwood:
Dane Swan’s manager has cleared the air with Collingwood, but maintains the champion midfielder does not have to change his lifestyle.

Essendon:
James Hird believes the Bombers have the grounding to win back September smiles.

Fremantle:
David Mundy’s return to pre-season training has provided a boost for his Fremantle teammates, who know how valuable the stoppage specialist could be in 2013 after an uninterrupted summer.

Geelong:
Chief executive Brian Cook has revealed he had decided to join North Melbourne, before changing his mind and re-signing with the Cats.

Melbourne:
The Demons reported on Monday an operating profit of $77,618 (FY11: $135,976) for the year ending 31 October 2012, with a statutory profit for the year of $19,486.

North Melbourne:
Midfielder Leigh Adams bears no grudge towards Chris Judd, despite his injured right shoulder needing post-season “bone block” surgery.

Port Adelaide:
The Power believes Liam Jurrah will prove more X-Factor than distraction with the forward’s pending court case clouding a recruit with massive upside.

Richmond:
AFL PNG star graduate Gideon Simon will wear number 50 in 2013 at Richmond, and in early club training has made a good impression already.

St Kilda:
The club has announced that they have re-signed team captain Nick Riewoldt, extending his contract through to the end of the 2014 season.

Sydney Swans:
Missing out on Grand Final glory has made Sydney Swans defender Tony Armstrong determined to make his mark in 2013.

West Coast:
John Worsfold says forward Murray Newman has the club’s full support as he faces a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm to another man earlier this month.

Western Bulldogs:
Former Essendon midfielder Brent Prismall is poised to start training with the Western Bulldogs and looks headed to the club in the pre-season draft.
